Only for Lovecraftian Lovers

[…] On one occasion, oh Alhazred (he told me), I sought (…) to achieve the vision of the Whole (…) And I, who had lived in all men in the same way that all men live in me, I, (...) tried to go further(...) -to that- ghostly (...) kingdom(...) and implacable beings (...) that are engendered in the madness that arises from Time and the Evil that reigns beyond space (...)" they felt my presence and will chase me forever.

For you, English speakers and Lovecraftian lovers, I want to mention the wonderful work that Lin Carter did in his collection of stories. Under the excuse of a translation work (the Dee Translation), he added a lot of new events to the Lovecraft'S SERIES. An exquisite reading.

Here is the link to a webpage which gives us information about different editions of a wide range of Sci-Fi genres. This is the section of THE NECRONOMICON: The Dee Translation series by Lin Carter. The Internet Speculative Fiction Database (ISFDB) describes itself as: "a community effort to catalog works of science fiction, fantasy, and horror."

I’m going to share a short excerpt from the Dee Translation readings that really struck me. I must say, that this is just a microscopic piece of a masterpiece; I feel bad for breaking its poetic flow and tearing apart such a text. You could consider this a spoiler, though it’s nothing we Lovecraftians don't already know. Or, you could see it as a 'murder'—but one committed solely to highlight a single idea.

This is what I do, I share pieces of readings, cutting them like in a Science Lab practice. In a task like that, you don't care about the beauty of the thing; you care about other questions of philosophy: what, for, how. So, I really apologize when I do this, but I think this thing about "quotes" has existed forever in our human history.

About the bibliography, I transcribed this text some years ago (2016), about 386 words, taken from a book I borrowed from my university's library. This is one of my favorite compilations ever, and I read it in Spanish.

Most of the delicate ideas sewn into the text are erased because I don't want to take away the possibility of you experiencing it by yourself. I added "-to that-" to the original text, and the last nine words are mine too, in an intent to complete the idea.

Finally, with respect to the perception of The Great Old Ones and the space-time relation present in the analogy established in my last entry (The Unconscious), here both diverge in the sense that, in this description, those beings are beyond space-time. Beyond whatever understanding...
